Posted: 06 Feb 2019 01:33 PM PST A Fox News presenter blamed the fact schools have being teaching children "fairness" after the organisation's own polling showed there was overwhelming support for higher taxes on multi-millionaires. Democratic senator Elizabeth Warren has proposed a "wealth tax" for those earning more than $50m and has won support from both Democrats and Republicans. A total of 70 per cent of people are in favour of raising taxes on those earning more than $10m and 65 per cent supported tax rises for those earning more than $1m, according to a recent Fox News poll. Mr Trump began his State of the Union address by claiming he wanted to work with the new Congress, including the Democratically-controlled House, in remarks that saw many members of the two chambers stand and applause – among them a number of Democrats, including speaker Nancy Pelosi.
