Wisconsin college on lockdown after report of gunman Posted: 16 Apr 2013 10:32 AM PDT By Brendan O'Brien MILWAUKEE (Reuters) - Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin is on lockdown due to a report of a gunman on campus, according to the school's Facebook page and a student at the university. Police are searching for a male in his 50s with a beard, wearing a brown jacket and black hat that was last seen walking in the area of campus 10:20 a.m., according to the Facebook page. School officials were not immediately available for comment. The Facebook page said there was a report of a man with a firearm in the area of the tennis courts. Classes were canceled for the day. ... |

The semi-official news agency quoted Morteza Akbarpour as saying the earthquake had "so far, it has not caused any fatalities". "The epicenter of the quake was located in the desert and population centers do not surround it. There were no fatalities in the towns around the epicenter," he said.
