Trump taunts Democrats over calls to abolish Ice: 'They'll never win another election' Posted: 01 Jul 2018 01:20 PM PDT 'That's going to be their [Democrats'] platform, open borders which equals crime,' Donald Trump said in a prerecorded interview with Fox Business that aired Sunday. After a day of mass demonstrations against Donald Trump's family separations policy and calls by prominent Democrats to abolish the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, or Ice, the president dared Democrats to pursue the issue in the run-up to midterm elections in November. The air strikes were carried out on northern Iraq's Zap region and Turkey's southeastern provinces of Sirnak and Van, the military tweeted. Turkey has stepped up strikes on Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) bases in northern Iraq, especially its stronghold in the Qandil mountains. Eleven members of a family found dead in house in India's capital Posted: 01 Jul 2018 06:03 AM PDT By Suvashree Choudhury and Nigam Prusti MUMBAI/NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Eleven members of a family were found dead in India's capital on Sunday, most of them hanging from the ceiling of their home, blindfolded, gagged and hands tied behind the back, in a case which police said they could not immediately explain. The home was above a grocery store owned by the family in the Burari district in a northern part of Delhi, near where three people were killed and several injured in a shootout between two gangs just two weeks ago.
