Paris attacks suspect Abdeslam transferred to France Posted: 27 Apr 2016 01:35 AM PDT Top Paris attacks suspect Salah Abdeslam was handed over to French authorities on Wednesday, federal prosecutors in Belgium said. Abdeslam, a French national of Moroccan origin who grew up in Belgium, is believed to be the last surviving member of the terror squad that killed 130 people in the French capital in November. "Within the framework of the Paris attacks of the 13th of November 2015, Salah Abdeslam has been surrendered to the French authorities this morning," a statement in English said. Trump scored victories in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Delaware, U.S. television networks projected. Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, already in control of the Democratic race, defeated challenger Bernie Sanders in Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania. |

Clinton already appeared on a path to clinching the race and becoming the first female major party presidential nominee on April 19, when she earned a victory in her home state of New York. At that point, her rival, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) was left with an extremely narrow path to earning enough delegates to secure the party's nomination. A court in the Cayman Islands has sought to question Paul Manafort, Donald Trump's chief campaign aide, to determine what happened to $26.2 million invested by a billionaire Russian oligarch in a Cayman Islands partnership with the political consultant, according to documents obtained by Yahoo News. Court appointed liquidators from the Cayman Islands last summer initiated a legal action in federal court in Alexandria, Virginia seeking to question Manafort and two business partners under oath about a business deal between them and firms controlled by Oleg Deripaska, a Russian aluminum magnate who for years was barred from entering the United States over allegations of ties to organized crime.
