Giovanni Melton, 14, had reportedly argued with Wendell Melton, about having a boyfriend. "I'm sure that inside of his mind, he would rather have a dead son than a gay son," she said after the 2 November shooting at their home in Henderson, Nevada.

Deposed Saudi princes 'sleeping on floor', as Trump says purge targets were 'milking' the countryPictures have emerged reportedly showing deposed Saudi Arabian princes and ministers sleeping on the floor of the Ritz-Carlton hotel following their arrest in one of the kingdom's biggest ever purges.  Some 11 of the Desssert Kingdom's princes were detained over the weekend, along with 38 senior officials. They can be seen bedding down on thin mattresses in one of the function rooms at the 5-star hotel in Riyadh.  Among those arrested is billionaire investor Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, who is a nephew of the king and worth an estimated $18billion. He owns stakes in Twitter, Lyft and Citigroup as well as the Savoy Hotel in London.  "There is no jail for royals," a Saudi source close to the government noted. Mr Trump said last night had "great confidence" in an anti-corruption sweep by Saudi Arabia that has seen dozens of high-profile political and business figures arrested. "I have great confidence in King Salman and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, they know exactly what they are doing," he wrote on Twitter. The purge underscores an unprecedented restructuring of the kingdom as Prince Mohammed steps up a dramatic reform drive for a post-oil era while consolidating power before his eventual succession as king. The US and Saudi Arabia have historically enjoyed close ties, which President Trump re-affirmed in May when he visited the country in his first foreign trip after taking office.
