Mr Bolton, defending the policy decision announced on Wednesday by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, pushed back on comments from Iran's foreign minister earlier this week that the United States is bullying countries, in violation of international law, by asking that countries and companies discontinue trade and business with Iran. "Iran is a rogue regime, it has been a threat throughout the Middle East ... So I don't take what they say seriously at all," Mr Bolton said during a press conference in the White House.

Arnold, just the fifth woman to win the Nobel Chemistry Prize, won one half of the nine million Swedish kronor (about $1.01 million or 870,000 euros) award, while Smith and Winter shared the other half. "The 2018 Nobel Laureates in Chemistry have taken control of evolution and used it for purposes that bring the greatest benefit to humankind," the Swedish Royal Academy of Sciences said.

| New York Times says Trump helped parents shield millions from taxes Posted: 03 Oct 2018 04:21 AM PDT  U.S. President Donald Trump engaged in tax schemes that included cases of fraud in which he and his siblings helped their parents dodge millions of dollars in taxes, the New York Times reported on Tuesday. The Times investigation, which the White House said was "misleading," showed Trump received the equivalent today of at least $413 million from his father's real estate business. The Times, citing a "vast trove" of confidential tax returns and financial records, reported that much of that fortune came to Trump because he helped his parents evade taxes, setting up a fake corporation with his siblings to disguise millions of dollars in gifts from their parents.
