Texas police kill man who fired at Austin buildings Posted: 28 Nov 2014 06:19 AM PST By Jim Forsyth AUSTIN, Texas (Reuters) - Police in Austin shot and killed a man who opened fire on three major buildings in the Texas capital on Friday and also may have had some type of explosive device in his vehicle. Police received a call at 2:22 a.m. local time about shots being fired in the downtown area, Raul Munguia, the Austin Police Department's assistant chief, told reporters.
