Malaysia says DNA sample confirms murdered Kim Jong Nam's identity Posted: 15 Mar 2017 01:09 PM PDT Malaysia has confirmed the identity of Kim Jong Nam's body based on a DNA sample taken from one of his children, the deputy prime minister said on Wednesday. Kim Jong Nam, the estranged half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, was killed on Feb. 13, when Malaysian police say two women smeared super toxic VX nerve agent on his face at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Tillerson, who became the top U.S. diplomat under Republican President Donald Trump in February, traveled to Mexico and Germany last month with a small contingent of journalists, including a "pool" reporter who informed colleagues of Tillerson's statements or actions.
