The ruling has no immediate impact, with the government saying there was no reason for Judge Arthur Schwab of the Western District of Pennsylvania to address the issue in the case, which concerns 42-year-old Honduran immigrant Elionardo Juarez-Escobar. ... |

Jimmy Morrisett, 55, who fled the Bastrop Satellite Prison Camp on Sunday night, was tracked by U.S. marshals to a vacant home in Burnet, a town west of Austin, where he lived before being sentenced last year. Stephen Silva was charged in July with having possessed a Ruger P95 9mm pistol with its serial number filed off, as well as with conspiracy to distribute heroin. Three dead, 35 wounded in attack on Pakistan school Posted: 16 Dec 2014 12:07 AM PST A Taliban attack on an army-run school in northwest Pakistan on Tuesday left at least three students dead and 35 people wounded, hospital and police sources said. Sharif Khan, a doctor at the Lady Reading Hospital in the city of Peshawar, where the attack is still under way, said they had received the bodies of three students. The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack, saying the gunmen had been ordered to shoot older students but not children.
