Gary told reporters outside the Duval County courthouse, where he was surrounded by relatives of the crew. The family told the newspaper the company made the wrong decision allowing the ship to set sail on its final voyage as Hurricane Joaquin was brewing in its path. |

It "swayed side-to-side like sputtering for gas and all the sudden dropped and then blew up," witness Arthur Grimes told the Palm Beach Post. Ali Rezaian said their mother, Mary Breme Rezaian, spoke with the reporter in a room at Tehran's Evin prison on Tuesday and described him as "terribly depressed" at the way the case had been handled. Jason Rezaian, who was arrested in July 2014 and holds U.S. and Iranian citizenship, was given 20 days to appeal, the Iranian news service ISNA said on Sunday, when the verdict was announced. |
