(Reuters) - A Baltimore row house near Camden Yards collapsed on Monday while under renovation, trapping one person and injuring a second, a fire department spokesman said. Dozens of firefighters scrambled to shore up the two-and-a-half-story building on South Paca Street so rescue crews could safely enter it and free the pinned individual, said Ian Brennan, spokesman for the Baltimore City Fire Department. The possible shots were reported at about 12:15 p.m. EDT and there have been no injuries reported, spokesman Brian Leary said in an emailed statement. (Reuters) - California Governor Jerry Brown vetoed a bill that would have placed strict regulations on how law enforcement and other government agencies can use drones, his office said on Sunday. The measure, which passed the state's Senate and Assembly with broad support, would have required law enforcement agencies to obtain a warrant before using an unmanned aircraft, or drone, except in emergencies such as a fire or a hostage-taking. "There are undoubtedly circumstances where a warrant is appropriate. The bill's exceptions, however, appear to be too narrow," Brown said in his veto message. ...
